Fitting saddles is like fitting a child's shoe.  It must be done correctly to allow for movement without pinching or pain.  Proper saddle fit is an important part of the whole equation for keeping a horse happy, healthy, and best able to perform.  Ideally the horse has his saddle fitted before his health and performance is compromised.

As an agent for County Saddlery, I have demo dressage and jumping saddles in the various models and sizes with me when I visit your horse.  Therefore, horse and rider will experience the advantages of riding in a properly fitting saddle by test riding these demos.

As a saddle fitter working under the principles of the Master Saddlers Association (MSA), I assess the fit of your horse's saddle onsite at your stable and potentially adjust that saddle to correctly fit the horse and rider.  The MSA incorporates ten basic objective steps to determine proper saddle fit, the most important of which is the horse's response to the saddle.
